Upvoted. ARC made Roon viable for me. I don’t want to miss out on this robust tailored curated music experience that I have in my house just because I’m walking down the street. ARC gives me some bit of that so that I don’t have to use two services.
I’m really surprised this isn’t a more core feature for more people. Does no one listen to music outside? I haven’t seen a human on the street without headphones in years.
Anyway, I use the endpoint transfer function daily - start listening to an album in my bedroom while I’m folding laundry, transfer down to the back of the house while I make coffee and have breakfast, transfer to my office for the work day.
Then I step outside and walk to get lunch and I have to pause the album, note what song it is, open arc, search for it, pick the right track. listen to the beginning of the track again. it’s awkward.
