Roon asks for an internet connection

Hi,

I no longer have internet connection and Roon asks for one, how can i use it without internet connection?

You can’t. There must always be a connection to the Roon servers.

And on my Iphone, it’s the same result why ?

Not with Roon 2.0. There is limited ability to use it without a permanent internet connection by using the Roon 1.8 Legacy version, but this occasionally requires an internet connection as well (at least every 30 days, I think, to check the license)

Because Roon requires a server, the Roon Core, and all streaming (and license checks) go through the core

Yes, but that requires Roon 2.0, and ARC requires that the Core is online as well at least occasionally
