Roon + Ayre QX5, do I still need HQplayer as plus?

I already have Roon on Synology, and have Ayre QX5 DAC. If want to further upgrade, is adding HQplayer a good option?

Well you will have to get a PC to run Hqplayer. Why do you think you need it?

The best bet is to get the demo and play around with it and see if it is for you.
