I just saw that Roon Bridge is now part of the software you can install using the dietpi-software tool. Is there any reason not to do this? Does it depend on DietPi releases to get updated? I figure it might be helpful as a sort of vote for Roon in the new stats they’re collecting.
It has been part of dietpi-software for some time now – it just pulls in the regular Roon Bridge from Roon, sorts out the dependencies and automates the install for you. After installing, it is updated normally within Roon.
Interesting, I hadn’t seen it before. I kind of figured that it would be independent of DietPi releases, since those can take a while and you’d want to get Roon updated right when a new release comes out.
