Roon can’t see USB drive on Innuos Zenith

Core Machine

Innuos Zenith Mk3 with a 1TB drive. Current OS 1.4.8
iPad to control Roon.

Network Details

Audio Devices

Denafrips Terminator connected Via USB.

Library Size

20,000 tracks at a guess.

Description of Issue

I can see and use the music on the 1TB drive. I can use the Innuos to import albums from the USB drive to the 1TB Zenith internal drive. So the Innuos can see my music folder on the USB connected drive perfectly well.

When I go to the Roon settings, storage, add folder, I can’t see the UBS connected drive on the Innuos Zenith. It was easy to find and connect the Zenith internal 1TB drive.

Any suggestions?

I would talk to Innous as it sounds like it’s not mounting it when in Roon mode that’s down to them. Roon will only see drives that are exposed to it it can’t control what the OS behind the scenes is doing.

@Ian_Anderson. As I understand it, there are 2 USB connectors on the Zenith 3 - one to connect to a DAC (in your case the Denafrips) and the other is for connecting a backup drive, so would not show up on Roon? I have the Zenith 2 SE which has the same USB connector output configuration.
