I have a Roon Ready streamer which plays into my USB Vitus DAC. The Device setup page says it is XMOS JLSounds Hi-Rez Audiogon 2.0 but can not identify it from the next menu. This DAC is a DSD DAC, how do I set it up on roon if it cannot identify it?
Roon cannot identify it by brand because it hasn’t been tested and received Roon certification. However Roon should be able to identify its capabilities so shouldn’t really require any further configuration on your part. There are occasional exceptions to this but start by assuming Roon has figured out your DAC capabilities.
