Hi, I have switched from Windows OS to Linux (Zorin OS), that is why I am seeking a nature Linux app for Roon Desktop. Unfortunately the “Wine” workaround is not stable and I have encountered some resolution issues (too small GUI on my Laptop with Zorin OS). Hope Roon will consider growing Linux users to develop Roon Desktop for Linux OS.

This has nothing to do with Linux versus Windows (Wine). I have not encountered anything unstable with running the Windows version in Wine either. Maybe, if you would explain your issue, someone could point you in the right direction to resolve your instability.

Since Zorin uses an Ubuntu base, including their sources, you can install Roon on Wine correctly using the following instructions.
You shouldn’t need to change the scaling on a laptop with a 1080p screen. However, if you have a UHD display, you’ll need to manually change the scaling when installing. Please confirm the screen resolution, so I may offer assistance.
Hi, I am using Arch, so this may not apply. In display configuration, there is a section “Legacy applications(X11)” with two options: Apply scaling themselves (default), and Scaled by the system. Changing to the second option may help, but it will probably cause some blurring of the screen.
The other option is to reduce the screen resolution.

With the Roon app, scaling should be done during setup with Wine rather than using the OS display settings.
Typically, Zorin uses GNOME and Wayland.
