I love having the ability to “see” Roon on my TV display via Chromecast but I don’t understand why, especially considering Roon’s credentials, why there is not more information, or at least an option for more information, on the display screen. At the very least, why isn’t the album name displayed. Currently all you get is Track Name and Artist. I would think that at least the addition of Album Name would be doable. There is a lot of available real estate on a 16:9 layout to accommodate.

Yes, would love this - things like the source, file details (like MQA, Khz, bits etc), control over the images and how often they change, plus some template options.
Absolutely. I really wish there was an option to just display the album art, instead of the artist pic. I mean some are ok, but most are awkward in one way or another. Especially if I have guests over, I find it distracting and either throw some YouTube art on the TV or just turn it off. But I like for people to be able to see what’s playing. Roon does such a good job of making me not miss having a physical album jacket, you’d think this would be a priority. And kind of an easy fix. Of course, it didn’t occur to me to include this in the recent survey they did. Next time!

Would love a customisable view. Mostly I prefer to only display album artwork! Nothing at all more. Just plain and simple.
But to be able to customise a bit would of course be great. Add playback resolution, song name etc as wanted.
