I remember working on that issue when originally creating the extension and I believe there were some weird issues in the keep-alive when I upgrade to the latest NodeJS version recently. Do you have the same problem with the most recent version of the extension?
Yes thatās right, I have installed 2025.1. through the Roon extension manager. The server version is 2.47 build 1510.
Hmm. I am running the exact same version and itās up for 17 days right now. Still working without any issues.
How often does that happen?
It happens every few days if I donāt touch anything, but I canāt identify a pattern. All network connections are via ethernet, too.
But I can easily replicate it: I just do a power-cycle of the Arcam, and it never reconnects automatically to Roon. I do need to restart Roon or the extension while Arcam is online for it work again.
Soā¦ Iāve been running this since my last message without any issues. However, a recent code analysis has shown some concerns about the heartbeat error handling.
Are you still seeing those issues?
Yes, still the same problem: āconnection closed reconnectingā¦ā. Iāve been using the HA Arcam integration for a while without issues, but unfortunately, that one doesnāt sync the volume.
