I have always enjoyed reading your posts and comments since 2017 when I started using Roon. Always eloquent, constructive and well balanced. I am sorry to see you go but I completely understand the reasons you have articulated. I empathise with quite a lot of what you have shared.
I wish you all the best and hope you find a way to enjoy the music with as few bugs as possible 
Moderators have a biased interpretation of “axe grinding”. When the same issue affects a large number of users, you may think that sharing your own experience - good or bad - with those affected is what the forum is about. Wrong! Mods will erase your post if they think your contribution is not positive enough. The thing is: you may be repeating details but this is only because so many users suffer from the same software issue.
Bottom line: mods breach their own guidelines.
