Roon is great with Tidal and Qobuz ... What would the other providers add?

Apple and Spotify and any other number of “lossy” services are absolutely fine for in-car listening.

Anyone arguing for high res or CD quality streaming IN A CAR, is, frankly, kidding themselves, unless they have a car with a noise floor lower than the Mariana Trench. The choice comes down to the integration with your car’s stereo, ease of use and size of available library.

So you cant tell the difference in audio quality in your car between lossy services and lossless? I sure can. And im happier with lossless.

This is reality ! And what a great free service it is.

I had the original XM radio service when it first came out at cd quality and it was amazing. It just went all to hell after awhile.

Maybe if I pull into a remote lay-by, switch the engine off, close my eyes and play some very familiar music, I could.

Generally, when I get into a car, my main focus is on driving.

Enjoy your music, if you play it loud enough I might even hear you before you plough into the back of me.

Or both! Ya never know.

Over the internet, SiriusXM might have CD SQ, but in a vehicle, every thing I’ve researched indicates ir’s about 128Kb/s
