Roon issues when connected with USB cable

Hi All,
I have an Innuos Statement as a Roon core. When connected to a Soulnote dac via USB, Roon finds the dac and identify it as a Soulnote dac. But when engaged, Roon claim that the dac is not found - any ideas?

I can add that using Innuos own software “Sense” this is not an issue, the music is playing flawless.

Just to clarify…

If you go to Settings/Audio you see the DAC there and it is Enabled and you’ve given it a name?

And

You’ve also chosen it to be the target audio endpoint via the enabled endpoint selector on the main page?
