Depending on how many tracks you have, rebuilding the db from scratch is a daunting task to many, just for the effort of setting a couple of parameters and automatically backing up the db
Not for me I have mine set daily …
There really is no need to have this included in ROCK, the data can be mounted by any relevant OS and a backup performed. Even a small Raspberry Pi can perform this task over the network. I would prefer RoonLabs to focus on the development of the main product rather than concerning themselves in how we backup our music.
