Roon mobile version on a tablet

As tablets are becoming more powerful and adding increased space (iPad Pro now has 512gb version) is it possible that we might see a mobile , somewhat stripped down of Roon running on a tablet in the future ?

Mobility would be really nice. We can do this on laptops but I would love to run Roon on a tablet .

The CPUs of tablets do not have the horsepower to run a Roon Core. Roon Remote apps already exist for tablets.

They will eventually have the horsepower, particularly if Roon decides to come out with a mobile version( lower power needed)

Think of the extra money Roon could make. I would pay for a separate mobile license!!

They could have the regular Roon license and Roon ios Mobile.

Why would I want to pay for an iOS Mobile version when Roon has indicated that they will add mobile playback and syncing to the iOS remote as soon as they can. This year was even mentioned at one time.

And I would disagree that tablet CPUs lack the power to run Core. Those A10xs are far more powerful than anyone gives them credit for. Although the point of running Core on a tablet doesn’t seem useful to me. With a NUC, you could basically run a portable setup in a car with a wifi bridge and local storage. Something I’m going to try once the ability to play to an iOS device becomes available. A van full of kids (I have seven) all listening to whatever they like on their headphones. Pure bliss.

Yep that would be an awesome setup and I can think of many others with a mobile setup .

The chip in the new Apple IpadPro could run Roon. At least I think so .
