On man, that was almost 2 years ago. I sent mine back and got a full refund. I did that because John told me to send it back as he wasn’t able to fix the issue. Currently I have a Topping E50 which work without any issues getting signal over coax from my Bluesound NODE.

What does OFS stand for? The D90SE manual doesn’t explain it, and no amount of googling seems to bring it up.
ORFS means the Original File Sample, or, the resolution of the original file prior to be MQA’d. This is just a metadata tag being displayed not an indication of the actual processing.

If your MQA DAC receives a raw undecoded MQA, it needs to display MQA.
If your MQA DAC receives an already MQA Core decoded / first unfolded MQA stream, it needs to display OFS or OrFS, which means Original Frequency of Sampling as explained above.
