Thank you. I have. It is wonderful. I am partial to Artur Schnabel’s traversal, but the recording quality/sound engineering on this recording is much better. Igor Levit’s recording of these sonatas is nothing to sneeze at either. Get to hear Paul Lewis perform several of these live in a few weeks. Embarrassment of riches.

I’m unable to access .pdf recording booklets on Qobuz USA with the below notification. Also no longer to contact Qobuz Customer service in any way. Wondering if they are in existential fail mode?

Qobuz support has gone to AI chatbots. Messages are supposed to be relayed to humans if you request it, but I’ve not heard anything back from flesh and blood humans since I reported this issue last week…

Thank you for confirming, Geoff and @mSpot. Did the same with Qobuz today. I’m a bit concerned for Qobuz and am now actively seeking alternative that is deep on classical music with at least RBCD streaming resolution that plays well with Roon. Very small subscriber base (~400,000) puts Qobuz in a financially precarious position. Other than occasional customer support hiccoughs, though, I’ve greatly enjoyed Qobuz USA and hope I can continue to. I would be down with doubling the cost if that would help. Would be nice if some assurances were on offer.

Qobuz told me that its a secrurity measure. Someone tried to steal extra-materials from them, so they locked the access. It should be temporary.

Thank you @Achim_Weimer . Wish others among us could be informed directly by Qobuz re: what is happening with this outage (inadequate security clearance or such  ) and that it will be temporary. I expect most folks don’t give a hoot about the .pdf booklets with albums, so it’s not a top priority and I agree that access to the music is the most important and wonderful.

Via David Hurwitz’s recent video, I was made aware of the remastered Haydn cycle by Doráti and Philharmonia Hungarica (Decca).

I was planning to order the CD box but I started streaming the high resolution version and was so impressed by the fidelity that I’m going to hold off on the 16/44 physical version. It would be nice to see all the original cover art.

I’m curious what others think of these remasters.

Would that I could. Can’t find on Qobuz USA  and out of stock at Presto. Already loved the previous Decca version and curious about how noticeable the sonic improvements are with remastering.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a bot collecting album program booklets for AI training.

Found it on Qobuz USA. It is spread across multiple sets.

Thank you @mSpot for pointing to these. I searched using Antal Dorati. Searching Philharmonia Hungarica does the trick. Listening now.

** Found after @mSpot helpful note below (note 73)**

These (Haydn 17-33) are absolutely wonderful! Much improved over the previous Decca set. Thank you @Thomas_Becker for pointing these and Mr. Hurwitz’s nice review. The question remains unresolved whether the higher resolution versions available for streaming, and which are crystal-clear/wonderfully resolved are more detailed than the RBCD version. Almost always find that RBCD is on the same footing. You?

I can access pdfs on Qobuz.

Wonderful news! Thank you @Rugby! .pdf booklet access also seems faster both in Roon and Qobuz. Huge breath of relief, since Qobuz is, to a great extent, the only Roon-integrated show in town with such a deep classical music library and unambiguous native RBCD or greater resolution.

I’ll take quick resolution over communication any day.

qobuz has solved the problem, booklets are accessible again.

Great performances and the sonics are the best these recordings have sounded! I saw the same video as I hadn’t realized these had been re-released! Pleasantly surprised to see the entire set available for streaming and not have to buy the giant CD set!
