Is it normal for the Android Roon app running on mobile phone to be missing the DSP function? I thought I remember seeing it before.
The same app running on Samsung tablet however has no such issue and have full access to DSP.
DSP settings are currently not available on any phone interface, Android or iOS.

I’ve been using the Roon app on my Note 8 for a while now. It was working fine on Android 7.0. Today I updated to Android 8.0 but now when I open the app it just shows white blank screen and crashes itself after few seconds. How do I fix it??
Just an update: I’ve uninstalled the Roon app >> restarted my phone >> reinstalled the latest version of the app and it’s working just fine once again

Is there a thread for a feature request to add this to mobile? To be clear, I’m not asking to add support for DSP processing on the mobile output, just the ability to configure it for other outputs.
At a minimum, it would be nice to select from existing DSP presets.
I own a Note 8, the Roon app was working fine with my phone running Android Nougat. However as I updated to latest Android Oreo (8.0) today whenever I am opening the app it only loads a blank white screen on the start up and crashes after a while automatically. How do I fix it??
Update: I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the latest version of the Roon app and it’s working just fine again
This is one of the most common problem user faces. I was having the same issue, so in order to resolve it, just follow the mentioned steps (it worked for me)
- Un-install the app
- Delete the cache and other files of the apps (do it via file manager)
- Restart your phone
- Re install the app
