When the Roon option is selected in the Bluesound app sidebar you see a message " Your Player is in Roon mode now. It is ready to recieve the signal from the connected device ". Without seeming like a complete knob! in what situation would you actually select this option. I thought you would normally select your Bluesound zone in the Roon controller then play your music or am i misunderstanding how Roon and Bluesound interact with one and other?.
No, you’re correct. The BluOS app doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. I only go in there to see if there are firmware updates. Roon for everything else.
Nice to know I am not the only one who thinks that sometimes software can be over complicated with unnecessary options. Only use the app for radio Paradise and Amazon Prime.
