The monthly problems with Roon ( since yesterday the core freezes seconds into each start of it. ) forced me to play music from the Tidal desktop app. Never done that before. Just as with Roon music goes from my NUC I5 via usb to my fairly resolving system ( around 25000$). This made me think about ditching Roon and only just go for Tidal. Tidal sounds very good to me but as good as Roon? I don’t know. What do you say, if you compare? I will certainly miss the lyrics all metadata that comes with Roon. But SQ is most important. Thoughts?
