Roon radio stations Belgium not playing

Hi,

As I am trying Roon, I noticed that Live Radio from Belgium seems not to be playing for national radio stations (= VRT), but also

VRT Radio 1 VRT, VRT Radio 2, MNM, MNM Hits, Klara, Klara Continuo, VRT Studio Brussel, Qmusic BE, Willy, VRT NWS, Nostalgie,…

When selecting one of the stations I get “Unable to play this station. Its address may have changed, or it may be temporarily unavailable”

Can you, fix this please?

Hmm, I’m away from my setup at the moment, so can’t fully check, but the stream tester used by the curators shows no issues.

Are other stations OK? What about a flac station, for instance one of the Radio Paradise options.

Are you using a NAS by any chance? Perhaps your codecs need sorting. See either Synology or QNAP for help.

Living in BeIgium myself, I just tried most of them out, all without any issue using the default AAC 128kbps streams.

Maybe restarting your server could help, if still not working for you

Hi Brian, inderdaad using a synology nas, and I see cpu at 80%. This morning all stations seemed to work through. Probably a restart dit the trick

Probleem inderdaad opgelost waarvoor dank.

Ik ben nog in mijn proefperiode va Roon. Enkele vaststellingen:

  • geluid met Qobuz connect is gelijk, dus daar geen verbetering
  • Vooral problemen met ARC. Deze toepassing wil niet werken. Geen connectie mogelijk met mijn Telenet modem. Nochtans port forwarding met juiste instellingen gedaan. Hoe doe jij dat ?

Sorry maar kan je niet helpen met ARC. Om te beginnen gebruik ik ARC niet.
Ook gebruik ik een eigen router achter de Telenet router (die bij mij als als bridge is ingesteld).

Ji zou eens met Tailscale kunnen proberen. Als je hier in het forum zoekt op Tailscale ga je wel informatie vinden die je op weg kan zetten.
