App seem to be quite slow, and there is lots of time of waiting for things to load when scrolling.
I have OnePlus 6T with latest android 10.0.4

LG v60 android 10 here and no such issues. Seems as responsive as before.
Oneplus 8 here and works great. Have you tried clearing cache and do you have the issue on other devices.
A number of us have noticed issues with older tablets, with lower memory.
From my memory of OnePlus 6, it already has 6GB of Ram. In that case have you tried opting Roon our of memory optimisation, as it is my starting point on my OnePlus phones
Scrolling has seemingly become less smooth for me on Samsung Tablet A 10.1 (2019, 3 GB RAM) as well as the Motorola Go Power (2020, 4GB) phone
In 1.7 I had configured a 256 MB album cover cache on both devices, which helped with scrolling compared to the default (64 I think). But this setting seems to have disappeared (?) in 1.8 and I don’t know which value it is choosing now and if this has anything to do with it.
I can no longer see the cache size either, though the clear cache option is still there.
