Just an FYI- I am posting this comment even though the topic has been brought up from time to time. I checked my iphone memory status and noticed my Roon App was tying up 11.6 Gigabytes of my phone’s storage. I looked at comments on the forum that suggested a delete and re-install of the app. I was hesitant but went ahead with it. Now storage on the app is around 500 Megabytes. No change in performance. Still great. All album art etc. reloaded immediately. Seems like Roon should check into this software behavior.
Ah yes, this happened to my iPad recently. I was running out of memory for no real reason but saw that Roon had gobbled up 5.5GB. A deletion and reinstall brought it back down to just over 500MB or so.
It is a well known issue and has been going on for some time.
