Roon Remote performance: A14 vs. M1 iPads?

Anyone have experience comparing Roon Remote performance on these two? I’ve got an M1 Macbook Air, which has pretty solid Roon Remote performance (much quicker than my Amazon Fire HD10 tablet), and am wondering whether the M1 iPad Air is worth $100 more than the A14-powered 10th gen iPad when it comes to Roon Remote performance.

I think the extra $100 is worth it; roon Remote runs superbly on my M1 iPad Pro.

My iPad Pro runs Roon remote superbly as well. I never thought much about it until I noticed that my old iPadAire2 (who’s only job was to run Roon Remote) had become very sluggish in comparison and almost unusable. My takeaway is that some performance issues can be blamed on the remote and that I need a new one…
