Ok so have an older MacMini running as my server that can only run 1.8 Legacy due to the hardware space limit they set. I have built an i7 NUC to run ROCK, which of course installs as the 2,0 version. When I try to migrate the settings by making a 1.8 backup to dropbox and then trying to load the backup in ROCK, ROCK sees “no valid backup” or something to that effect. Is this an impossible thing to go from 1.8 on a Mac to 2.0 on a ROCK? What am I missing here?

If possible, try to take another database backup on a USB thumb drive and then restore from that.
well, I resolved this by temporarily using a laptop to import a 1.8 backup to 1.8Legacy then upgraded the laptop to 2.0 and restored a backup from that to the ROCK.
