So I restart Roon server and all Chromecast devices & zones are displayed.
After a while (day or two), one or more of the Chromecast based zones are no longer displayed.
What is odd, is that if the Chromecast device is included in a Group that is still displayed, it will play, so the connection still exists, just the view as a zone is missing.
I had a long running bug where Chromecast zones would be duplicated, now they are dropped and missing. Something is broken in the Chromecast discovery.
What more information do you need?
I provided all the information for the last Chromecast based issue, and 2 years later, there was nothing fixed.
Is this issue going to be different?

There have been several EA releases since I reported this issue.
However it is still occurring, as in this morning.
But I can’t remember whether it came in with a particular EA release.
I don’t seem to be having the duplicating Chromecast zones issue I reported about 2 years ago, there was a ticket in for this, but I don’t believe it was resolved.
