Now that the LPSU for the Nucleus has been temporarily or permanently shelved, are there any plans for Roon-tested status to be provided for third-party products? That would be helpful, including for warranty and insurance purposes…
I doubt this will ever happen, for two reasons: 1) there are an infinite number of products that could be considered in this universe, which would require a huge Roon resource commitment with no concomitant revenue offset, and 2) as Roon already has its own power supply (like it or not), it doesn’t need to put itself at risk to test third-party products that could be subject to quality issues, endless revisions, and thus endless re-testing, etc.
