Thanks for your post. We’d be happy to clear up some confusion here.
Pertaining to Apple Music as a streaming service, Roon is not yet integrated. There’s a history there and ongoing discussion, but you can read that conversation here:

As for importing your locally-stored music that is listed in Apple Music (the current version of iTunes), Roon doesn’t have immediate live integration with your Apple Music library when you add the standard Apple Music users/user/music location. This is because iTunes/Apple Music rely on symbolic links, and nested folder structures and certain content (like DRM-protected music or streaming-only tracks) isn’t importable.
You’ll also need to expose the Apple Music library as an .XML file in the same Apple Music location, enable iTunes in Roon Storage, and then rescan your library. Roon will then be able to ingest the locally-stored iTunes/Apple Music files using a file structure and nomenclature that it understands.
