My Roonbridge in normal use is disconnected from the Interenet for security and performance reasons - it only does Roon Bridge and serves my high end DAC. It does not receive automatic OS updates for example.
For Roon updates I currently need to connect to the Internet.
It would help if there would be the option to get Roon updates via Roon Core.
What do you mean by that?
All your Roon endpoints communicate with the Roon core.
It simply would make sense therefore that Core can cache any software updates for endpoints, reducing internet use and even if an endpoint does not have internet access it can still get updated.
I hope that makes it clear.
I see what you mean but I think it is pretty much an edge case for normal users.
