Hi folks, what is you impresssion of how much having quality Roon’s DSP volume control has? My DAC (Schiit Bifrost) has no volume control and my Naim Nait 2 is a bit unbalanced at low volumes, so I’d like to reduce volume before it goes into the Naim.
You needn’t concern yourself with quality loss, Roon employs high quality DSP and you’d have to turn the volume down significantly for it to become lossy.
You might tinker with the volume leveling feature.
