I’ve got a Bridge II for sale, because with a Mac Mini or an ultrarendu endpoint using Roon Bridge or HQP, and then a Matrix X-SPDIF2, SQ is hugely better than the DSD Bridge.
At the moment I’m going back and forth between Roon Bridge and HQP for the Mini - so far I can’t hear much, if any, difference between the two when no filters are used in HQP, and I view twiddling filters as being in the same vein as tube-rolling, i.e. some potential, but I’m not interested in spending time messing around with it.
