Downloaded latest version for Pi5 and created image direct to the SSD using Pi Imager. It’s stuck in an endless loop looking for SD-Card and other MSD errors. I’ve used the same process to test load PiCorePlayer, Volumio, Pi OS (regular and lite) and they all have worked. Any ideas?
Any chance you can take a picture or something?
Actually now it just boots to a tiny “U-Boot” icon in top right corner…
Update: I removed the SSD and updated the raspi-config to boot to SD. tried multiple SD cards and creating the image with Pi Imager and Balena - always boots to the U-Boot logo and then freezes.
I used the same cards and created Pi OS Lite and Volumio images and it boots into them perectly.

I have exactly the same issue here, tried to flash the latest image on SSD, microSD, USB stick but same result, I’m stuck on the UBoot logo. My Pi5 (8gb variant) is running the latest firmware. Couldn’t find any relevant help so far.
Well, RoPieee only runs on SD. Second, which version are you trying to run?
Tried again today with the latest image and a microSD and it worked. Are there any plans to support SSD ? quite an essential feature for PI5s.
What’s so essential about it?
