Ropiee XL Bluetooth - How do I pair?

Hi all,

I am using Ropieee XL on a PI 4B, so my understanding is that it should support Bluetooth. However, I don’t see anything about initiating pairing in the UI. How do I do that?

It works as a bluetooth audio endpoint that you can pair from your mobile for example.

Thank you!! Turns out that I didn’t have XL installed after all :slight_smile:
Also, RoPieeeXL does appear to always be in pairing mode, as opposed to HifiBerryOS where you need to put it in pairing mode via the UI. I was able to pair now

Dear Harry,
I am also using a Raspberry Pi 4 Model B Rev 1.5 running RoPieeeXL 2023.11 (1179), but my phone does not see any Bluetooth signal. I enabled Wireless in the RoPieeeXL settings under the assumption that Bluetooth would potentially show up together with Wifi, but it didn’t. Any suggestions (a reboot also didn’t help)?

Bluetooth isn’t supported anymore, you can read here (page 5)
