Ropieee crashes after choosing Allo Boss in setup

Hello,

I have installed Ropieee on my Raspberry Pi 3B on an 8GB card. I get to the configuration screen. If I then select the Allo Boss under ‘Audio’ and click on ‘Apply’, the connection is cancelled and shatters the entire system. I even have to rewrite the card.

Possible causes of error that I can rule out:

  • The Allo Boss DAC is ok, it runs under Logitech Media Server without any problems. I have also definitely selected the correct version.
  • The card is 8GB in size
  • My WLAN is absolutely stable

Do you have any ideas as to what the fault could be?

Which version are you running?

Does the connection comes back?

The latest version from the download page, it is a completely fresh installation. Now I tried the installation via ethernet cable. 2 reboots were ok, then the connection got lost after having configured the wifi - just gone. Cannot find anything in my Fritzbox network and reboots are pointless. Again, I have to rewrite the card (tried it with etcher as well as with win32diskimage…)

Can you send me feedback?
You can find that option on the ‘advanced’ tab.

Solved. The problem was that the IP was used before by picoreplayer and still named accordingly. After deleting the site cache I “found” the Ropieee interface again.
