My RoPieee endpoint has been very stable, only needing the occasional restart when Roon has lost contact with it. In the past few weeks, the restart needed frequency has increased, where it now feels like it sits offline once or twice each week (feels more frequent, but I don’t really keep tabs).

Running 4.017 stable at the moment. Reboot schedule set to never.

I have had a RPi for 4-5 years on Riopeee, the only issue was fixed by re burning the image on the SD card. I now have 2 RPi’s as I bought a new one to fix the problem of a “broken pi” that wasn’t
It’s not drastic , 10 minutes wait while Etcher does it’s stuff it an easy elimination step if nothing else.

As @Mike_O_Neill said, it’s not drastic. Flashing instuctions are contained in this pdf.
Could it be that it isn’t the reflash but that the rpi is cooling down in the meantime?
I also suffered from similar issues (but with another distribution) and afterwards I’m just not sure if the rpi just was too hot after 24/7 running over months…
