Ropieee XL, USB Dac - no spotify option

So Ropieee XL on Pi4 with Cambridge Dacmagic on USB.

Everything works fine (bluetooth / roon) except no option to turn on or configure spotify.

anyone help me understand why and what I would need to do - hardware or software wise?

Don’t you have the Librespot tab in your RoPieee XL?

Yes, but says hardware mixer not supported?

That means that the hardware volume control for you dac is not supported, but you can use the software volume control from your smartphone/tablet

Yes, it was changed some years ago due to copyright issues
