RoPieeeXL 2024.02.1 (1396) - Encounter popping / cracking noise for usb output

Hi there!

As subjected, I recently encounter popping / cracking noise from usb output during playback. There is no such issue for coaxial / optical output and played normally.

Missing some information here:

  • what service? Roon?
  • can you send feedback after you heard such a pop?

  1. It is upnp service
  2. It is kind of intermittent cracking / sizzling noise during music playback

I just send feedback again while playing a track using upnp (with bubbleupnp app as the control). The audible sizzling noise is clearly perceived.

I have rollback to 1 of the historical version and i dont hear any pops or dropouts anymore. So I believe this latest version have something to fix.

Same setup but no issues at all here … from 16/44.1 to DSD512
