I’ve got some errors when running the above command and RoPieeeXL options DO NOT appear in the web interface

no, but first you need a reboot after the configure, then you need to wait (it pulls in the update) and then the option becomes available in the web interface.
can you switch to wired? i think this complicates matters, for now at least.

10+ mins here after rebooting, on 200Mb broadband. Is there somewhere I can check if things are happening via ssh?
