New Roon user and new RPi4 owner as I replace/phase out my Sonos system. Really enjoying both experiences so far!
Anyway, when trying to connect to the RopieeeXL device via Spotify connect, it just times out.
I can play via Roon
Still doesn’t work after a RopieeeXL reboot
I have enabled Spotify in the OS
RPi is connected via Wifi
Both Roku and Sonos devices “connect” very quickly
I am not sure where to start troubleshooting. Any advice?
First try to play some audio via Spotify and then provide feedback so I can have a look at the logs.
The ‘feedback’ option you can find in the ‘advanced’ tab of RoPieee’s webpage.

There are timeouts on the connection to the server (Spotify).
You’re on wireless I see. Maybe you should try it on cable.
I have the same problem on wired with the digione too. Could my firewall be preventing it, even if other (Sonos, Roku, Google) are not blocked?
