Hi @John_Hudak ----- Thank you for the report and sharing your feedback with us. I have moved your posts over to their own thread so I can address them with you directly.
With the release of Roon v1.4 iOS playback is now support, so you should be able to select either your iPhone and iPad as audio zones without having to route through Airfoil.
