Thanks for hosting again and as always. For those that missed it I actually had a music selection of the week! I actually listened to something. Crazy I know.

Also… I recommend this documentary on Amazon Prime Video. Vintage kit is awe inspiring to look at.

Here’s my music selection. Wondered into a place and saw these guys live Friday. They are a self described “paranormal string band featuring NW history, legends, UFO’s, Bigfoot, ghosts, true crime and more” but also have a sax player and drummer (and the sax was on point!)

It’s the 35th Anniversary of Twin Peaks and the lead singer was a teenager when the show was filmed in his town. His father’s office ended up being used for some of the casting. Guy’s a huge history and music collector and the music reflects that. Was an excellent show.

Apologize for the FB link but I don’t think they show-up anywhere else. Their two studio albums are on Qobuz and Tidal so go give a listen! I now give you Tinkham Road

C: Discussed the upcoming release of Sonny Rollins 1957 “A Night At The Village Vanguard. Complete Masters Tone Poet Series”. It seems that a previously unknown and unused master for this was discovered and this release was digitized flat from those masters. A shortened version is now on sale
at ProStudioMasters in DSD, and it sounds amazing to me and so am looking forward to the full release in March.
