Yes, an important point and what I was trying to call out by using the words “chip DAC”. A lot of the DACs we were talking about recently were, indeed, not chip DACs.

Yes that is the artist. Interesting though, when I search using the incorrect spelling “Anika Niles”, I receive the correct artist, weird.

We discussed File Viewer in Early Access. Most hoped it can be disabled and that would be it’s default.
Also, for next week, worst cover ever, but you have to own it. (or be in your Roon library for those who don’t have physical media).

Yes, needs to be disabled. Anyone on my network can modify my filesystem now? No thanks. Also, I need to do a backup today.

Actually it is a view only, with ability to start playback of tracks (not albums). We took a guess on how long after the List View goes live, that the requests for file management utilities start. I started off with less than a day.
You can delete files from disk but maybe you could always do that from the track edit menu.
A topic I was going to bring up but I don’t know if any of the regulars care… Seagate has reached the 30TB HDD capability now. The new technology is expected to allow for 120TB drives in the future. That’s a lot of music

Daniel, todays link, please. I’m going to try and get on board for a small bit from the UK. Visiting my son in Hastings. And he just picked up, yesterday, some interesting gear: Audio Analogue amp & pre amp. And nice B&W floor speakers. Ever heard of AA. All sounds great; vinyl and digital. David
