Samsung SM961 256GB NVME M.2 Suitable For Rock o/s

i have a spare samsung sm961 256gb nvme m.2 would this be ok to use in the latest i7 nuc for rock o/s?

The size is a bit of overkill fo ROCK & database, but it will work just fine. And fast. :slight_smile:

I use an intel nvme. It is 128GB instead of 256. And mine is an older 5th gen, so 7th gen should work fine.

Im using the Samsung SSD 960 EVO M.2 256GB as that was the smallest NVMe drive I could source. not sure if the 961 is perhaps a later version…mine is in a NUC7i7BNH
