Scrolling goes haywire

So I’m having this weird scrolling issue on my Windows Remote where it scrolls normally at first but then the scrolling goes haywire! I’ve created a screen video of it happening:

Scrolling Issue.mp4

In the video, I start out scrolling normally (with my mouse wheel) but around the 15s mark it starts jumping around wildly. Eventually it settles down but sometimes takes awhile. A way to interrupt the erratic scrolling is to click a button on the mouse.

It doesn’t happen when I use pg-up/down; however, this is a really slow way of scrolling so I don’t really use it that often.

I’m on the latest earlyaccess release (1448) but this has been happening for a long time now… Also, I’ve recently migrated to a ROCK system but it was also happening on my QNAP NAS.

Hi, @J_B, thank you for the video. Does it happen on pages with a lesser track count? I see that the album you is a pretty large boxset that’s why I am asking.

Thanks!

Ivan

It happens with smaller albums as well although it is a little harder to reproduce:

In this case it happened while scrolling-up.

I tried it in the My Tracks, History, Artists, and even the Folders views and there were no issues so this appears to be for the Album view specifically.

Update: so I got a new laptop. This one is brand new and much more powerful. Anyway, I don’t get the scrolling issue with this one. Not sure why but I wanted you to know.

Ok I just had this happen to me on my iPhone 11 remote. First time ever. It was much more noticeable when scrolling from bottom to top. It kept “slipping?” and creating this cascading effect where it felt like a dejavu seeing the same tracks show up as I was attempting to scroll. It was a local library album with less than 50 tracks.
