One problem I had with a bunch of Single discs coming up as one Box set , I would like to separate the discs from the box
can figure this out , tried using my original meta data ,with no luck
Either remove them one disc at a time, or copy away from you Roon library, rescan and clear deleted files, copy the files back in and rescan using existing tags.
Tried that ,they just go back ,I need to pick one of the discs out ,and edit just it ,not sure how to do that
They all seem to be grouped together
Make sure they do not have CD1 CD2 etc as folders. And make the Artist/Album tags different for each album. Then they will not get grouped into a box.
You can identify each one separately as part of the box, to get the metadata, but leave them unmerged.
The only way I could fix this problem that worked was re ripping the cd
Then you did it wrong, I’m afraid.
It’s about file tags, folder names and cleaning the database. With those three elements the Problem (and many similar) can be solved.
