Setting up Roon ARC with T-Mobile Home Internet

Hello,

I am considering switching from Comcast Cable to T-Mobile Home Internet. Currently in the trial phase for T-Mobile Home Internet and determining if all my systems can connect successfully. What are the procedures for setting up ARC in the Roon app using T-Mobile Home Internet?

You will have to use Tailscale.

@Carmen_Franceschino, as @Rugby noted, you will need to use the Tailscale VPN solution to use ARC with T-Mobile Home Internet. T-Mobile uses something called Carrier Grade-Network Address Translation (CG-NAT) to share IP addresses among many subscribers. Roon ARC natively cannot work across a network using CG-NAT, but using Tailscale is a solution to this issue.

I use Tailscale for a different reason and it works flawlessly across my home network and AT&T network.
