Setting up Roon server on a headless Windows PC

Please can someone help me setup a Roon Server on a headless windows 10 PC to be accessed on other PSs and devices on the network.

Quick version:

  1. Install Roon. Set the Server to run on login. Close the graphical interface.
  2. Setup a remote connection app, like Splashtop or TeamViewer. Roon does not run as a service but is program (if you have set it that way see 1) to run on user login.*
  3. When installing Roon on a different PC, do not use the option to “Use This PC”, instead connect to the server running on the headless PC.
  • If you don’t want to do 2, you can run a search on this forum (or the internet) on how to set Windows to Auto-Login.
