Should I stay with Roon, and how?

I made this RoPieee setup with RPi3+HiFiBerry DAC+ Pro for my son.
It was supereasy. The hardest part was finding fitting LEGO pieces.

I think I have my answer, I’m gonna stay with Roon.

I auditioned the Node 2 (not 2i) when considering an upgrade to my IQaudiO Pi-DAC+. They are in the same league; nothing between them as far as I could tell (not surprising since they both share the same DAC chip.) So, I came to the conclusion that to beat a Pi Hat you need to spend considerably more for a retail unit.
