Hoping for a bit of snow this year. This album is great if you’re sitting in a warm house, watching the snowflakes add to the white landscape.
In the words of Nils:
“Wintermusik’ was recorded on the 21st and 22nd of December 2007 at Durton Studio. It was originally intended as a Christmas present for my family and friends. ‘Wintermusik’ is 30 minutes of pure improvised piano music combined with celeste and reed organ.”

We Three Kings by The Roches
We Three Kings is an album by the American folk trio the Roches, released in 1990. It is a collection of Christmas songs. The sisters wrote two of the album's 24 tracks. We Three Kings is considered a classic of unconventional Christmas music.
MCA Records allowed the album to go out of print; it was reissued by Rykodisc in 1994, after the label had signed the trio. For years, the sisters performed selections of the songs at their annual Bottom Line shows.
