Anthony Gallo Micro Ti’s (on stands)
MJ Acoustics Pro MkII Sub
Sonos Amp

Love the small size and phantom centre. Really great for folk, pop and house. A bit naff for rock.

Sonos amp is a temporary measure, but haven’t decided on a desktop amp yet.

I might even move these back to the lounge and get some KEF LSX on my desk.

This is so neat is obviously a fake render.

(Looks at rat’s nest of cables in own set up and sighs)

You wouldn’t regret getting the LSX. I’ve had a pair on my desk for the last 12 months or so and they’ve been great.

Sold the Mojo/Poly combo since I never used them mobile, always on my desk. Less than half of that cash went to a RPi4 with Ropieee (hidden underneath the desk) and a Topping DX30Pro+. Pretty decent sound with the MrSpeakers Æon.

Hi SoT, just connect your office pc running Roon remote to a dac (iFi Zen for example) using usb cable (my paradigm being shielded cables, but not too expensive). Attach (analog connection) either active speakers or passive with modern but relatively cheap class d amp. Something with tubes is available for around 100 dollars. .
Enjoy the sound? You’re ok. This is how I started. Anything else were tweaks over a couple of years.

How do you find the Gold 5?
I was interested in these for my study Near Field Listening setup?
I’m guessing they need a Sub for any real bass

nice set up; are those KEF stands?

Yes, KEF P1. Rather expensive, but well made, very solid and good looking IMHO.

The picture on the monitor shows the speakers without stands btw.
