Now that I have my headphone rig working nicely with Roon, I thought this thread would be an enjoyable and informative sister thread to the 'Showing off your Roon setup" thread. I listen through headphones quite a bit and have had many headphones and headphone amps over the years.
The features built-in to Roon allow for particularly enjoyable headphone listening. The cross-feedback, convolution filters and EQ features have allowed me to customize a headphone sound signature which brings out the details and subtleties of music with my setup.
Currently, my headphone rig is:
iFi iDSD Signature with Grado GS1000i headphones. I sometimes swap out the GS1000i for the Grado Hemp.
There are many options when building a headphone setup. I look forward to seeing yours.
